Our History

A journey of excellence and growth

2000

Foundation

Obuasi Senior High Technical School was established with the vision of providing quality technical education to the youth of Ghana.

2005

First Graduation

Our first batch of 120 students graduated with certificates in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, achieving a 98% employment rate.

2010

Expansion

Added ICT and Building & Construction programs, expanded campus facilities, and established partnerships with leading industries.

2015

Recognition

Received national recognition as the "Best Technical School in Ashanti Region" and established international partnerships.

2020

Modernization

Launched digital learning platforms, upgraded all laboratories with modern equipment, and introduced robotics and AI programs.

2024

Excellence Continues

Today, OSTECH stands as a leading technical institution with over 2000 students and a reputation for excellence across West Africa.
